Any good places to get scrapbook stuff?

mysticmary asked:

Okay so where I used to live there was a store called Hobby Lobby that sold GREAT scrapbook stuff. But I moved Jan 2007 to the coast of NC and there is no where except walmart, and they always have the same things, nothing special. I like printed paper, cut-outs, stickers, themed packs, and all kinds of things. Are there any good on-line stores that aren’t Outragous in price? Please help, my scrapbook is falling behind due to lack of supplies.

Where you buy on-line depends on the style you want to use, and the types of albums you prefer. I would recommend that you join a couple of scrap-booking groups at Yahoo groups. The members should be able to direct you to a reliable on-line source, if you tell them the sort of things you like: lumpy pages, grungy, simple and elegant, over the top, fibers, metal, etc. Just to go yahoo groups and search scrap-booking. You may even find a group for your specific region, which would be great, because you might actually get a chance to scrap with some new friends.

    Have fun!

A few places I use are eBay, Memory Works, Pink Petty Coat, and Stapabilities just to name a few. There is also places for free downloads like Scrapbookscrapbook.com. Hope this helps some.

Is there a Pat Catan’s or a Michaels there? Or I think another is A.J. Moore maybe? Look online for things. Good luck!

michael’s and joann’s are good, so is target (near the stationery and office supplies)! freecycle.org is great for free stuff (find your local group at the site), just requires patience :) if you tend to be pretty resourceful, the dollar store has lots of things that can be used for scrapbooking, too, regardless of their intended use, lol (i.e. gift bags and wrapping paper, etc). good luck!
